Just got thumbnails working again, thanks to me having a bit of time to spare.

Other improvements will be coming soon...

Site Issues (Royster)

I am aware that there are currently issues with the image thumbnails.

I'm busy working at the moment, so am currently unable to resolve the issue.

However, once I get time, the issue will be resolved.

In the meantime, please note that although the thumbnails do not appear, you can still view the images simply by clicking on where the thumnails should be.

V1.1 Update features (Royster)

As you've probably noticed, the site wasn't updated for quite some time.

I thought it was time for a collossal update! The new features are as follows:

o Changed the logo (as the site is now also available through reviewstation.net and .tv)
o Changed the menu round a bit (added HD media (Blu-Ray, etc))
o Additional statistics
o Added the ability to upload up to 5 images per item, and a thumbnail for each image
o Added 'Stores where you can buy this item from' Affiliate links
o Removed CSS/HTML valid links (because the site wasn't - I'll be working on this in the next update)
o Fixed the 3 newest items on the home page
o Added percentage reviews, instead of 'out of 5' - this is more accurate, and enables me to display the average score per item (percentages are visible on the home page)
o Changed the 5 ticks/crosses so that they read the percentage and display the relevant number of ticks/crosses depending on the percentage
o Page titles have changed to reflect the item you are currently looking at
o Most popular viewed items added. This displays the most popular items, in relation to page views for each item.
o Compact/Repair database option (admins only)
o More items have been added
o Site code has been partiually optimised (with every update I'm making the site more efficient)

I think thats about it update wise, but there are still more things to come, including user avatars, comments (instead of full reviews for those that just want to drop a note), additional statistics and also guest accounts, profiles for those that sign up, and even personal mini blogs for those that enable it for their account.

Also, I'm planning to allow users to submit their own items to the site, so that if there is an item you don't have, you can create it, and it will be audited somewhat like Wikipedia.

We are currently looking for additional staff members, who can write fair, unbiased reviews of items on the website.

So, if you are interested, and have a particular interest in a particular category, for example, music, you could leave reviews based upon your own personal experience with the item you are reviewing.

Issue Fixing (Royster)

As you may have noticed, I'm currently fixing some small problems with the site.

o The site now has added security revisions
o The site now has a fully functioning and fixed 'Newest Items' feature on the main page (it was not displaying the newest items)
o The site now has a more efficiently optimised database access routine - hopefully this will take up less server resources

On top of this, more categories have been added, as well as more products for you to review. A few staff reviews have also been added.
